What began as an underused basement was transformed into a warm, atmospheric wine cellar and entertaining space, designed as much for spending time in as for storing wine. The basement conversion was conceived around the rituals of collecting, tasting and sharing wine, with warm timber, textured brick, soft lighting and aged finishes creating a sense of intimacy.
Rather than feeling like a conventional wine cellar, the room has the character of a private retreat: relaxed, tactile and quietly indulgent, with spaces for tasting, dining and lounging flowing naturally into one another.
